Privacy Policy for NEBOSH iDiP

Effective Date: May 24, 2026

This privacy policy governs your use of the software application NEBOSH iDiP (the "Application") for mobile devices. The Application is designed as a study companion tool to help candidates prepare for the NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.

100% Offline-First & Private Policy:
The NEBOSH iDiP application is completely offline. It does not connect to the internet, does not use external tracking or analytics, requires no user registration, and collects absolutely zero personal data.

1. Information Collection and Use

The Application does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal information. No accounts are required to use the app, and no registration forms are provided.

2. On-Device Storage & Local Progress

All data generated by your use of the Application (including quiz scores, completed lessons, recent search queries, and bookmarked pages) is stored **strictly and exclusively on your local device** using a secure local database (Hive).

3. Third-Party Access

Because the Application collects no data, no third parties have access to your information. The application has no SDKs or integrations with analytics providers (like Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics), advertising networks, or user tracking services.

4. Permissions

The Application requires no system permissions (such as access to your location, camera, contacts, microphone, or external storage) and does not require internet permission to function.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Since the app is completely local, any updates to the policy will be reflected on this page. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.

6. Contact Us

If you have any questions regarding privacy while using the Application, please contact the developer directly or via the app repository.
