At English Seekho, we are committed to providing a premium, focused, and distraction-free spoken English learning experience. We believe that your privacy should be absolute. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information in our mobile application, English Seekho (the "App").
1. 100% Offline & Private by Design
English Seekho is built entirely as an offline-first and private application.
- No Accounts or Logins: You do not need to register, sign up, or create an account to use any feature in the App.
- No Remote Cloud Servers: The App does not communicate with any external databases, cloud architectures, or remote servers. All resources, curriculum guides, lessons, and practice tools are integrated directly inside the local application bundle on your physical device.
2. Information Collection and Use
We believe the safest way to protect your data is to never collect it in the first place.
- Zero Personal Information: We do not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal identifying information, including but not limited to your name, email address, physical address, phone number, location, or IP address.
- Zero Device Permissions: The App does not require access to your device's camera, microphone, contact list, files, photo gallery, or device identifiers (IMEI/Android ID).
- Zero Cookies or Tracking: The App does not use cookies, tracking pixels, browser storage trackers, or unique advertising IDs.
3. Local On-Device Storage
To customize your study experience, the App stores progress metrics locally on your physical device using your operating system's standard secure preferences storage (SharedPreferences):
- What is saved: Your theme preferences (light/dark mode), your compiled lesson reading progress, bookmarked lessons, and quiz score statistics.
- How it is secured: This configuration data is stored fully sandboxed inside the secure storage partition allocated to English Seekho by the Android Operating System. This data never leaves your device.
- How to erase: You can reset all bookmarks and study progress at any time by clicking the "Reset Storage" button inside the App Settings, or by clearing the App Data / uninstalling the App via your Android Device Settings.
4. Third-Party Services
We do not partner with third parties that collect or process user data.
- No Advertisements: English Seekho is 100% ad-free. There are no advertising SDKs (such as AdMob) included in the App.
- No Analytics: We do not include third-party tracking, analytics, or crash reporting SDKs (such as Google Analytics or Firebase Crashlytics) that collect telemetry from your device.
5. Children's Privacy
Because our application does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data from anyone, it is fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and general family protection regulations worldwide. It is safe for students and learners of all age groups.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. However, our core philosophy of absolute user privacy, zero tracking, and offline processing will remain unchanged. Any updates will be posted directly within this page.
